Rose of Passion
As the snow fell, snowflakes glistening like stars, I stared out the window. After sitting there for a while, I forced myself to get off the couch, attempting to stifle a yawn. The gang was out bowling, but I stayed home because it was nearing Valentine’s Day. The only reason I didn’t go was because I wanted to make a special chocolate for Soul. Since everybody started staying at our little place, I never had any downtime. And since now that I do, I skipped to the kitchen to begin my masterpiece. I headed to the pantry to grab some ingredients; I ran the recipe through my head. While Soul was out doing who knows what, I had picked up some books from the library. I felt exhilarated, which caused me to move faster, like I was flying. Smiling like a maniac I whipped out the book and got down to business.
